Hi! It’s us again — it’s Becca by the way :)

We have an end-of-summer trip planned, and it’s to somewhere we’ve never been, but in a close-by country we’ve been to multiple times.

✈️ Where are we going?

We’re going to Nova Scotia!

Where’s that, you might ask? Well, it’s one of the Canadian Maritime provinces, the eastern-most region of Canada. It’s supposed to have cooler summer weather, slightly later sunsets, an impressive number of lighthouses and a lot of fresh seafood! We’re pumped.

💼 Half Half Travel is a full-time job

Next, with autumn comes an update for us: I am moving into working on Half Half Travel full-time. This is a big change!

What does that mean for you? For starters, I hope you like this newsletter because you can expect more regular updates. And hopefully, with more time dedicated to everything half-half, you will see more travel advice, deeper dives into places we’ve been and cool selections of tested products and gear from our trusted brands.

🚗 What’s in our car?

And now, what’s in our car this season? We’ve gone on a lot of road trips to Litchfield, CT, and the Catskills this summer and we have been testing the AirFly Pro and the Peak Design Car Vent Mount.

They’ve been incredibly helpful in playing music via Bluetooth and keeping our phone front and center for navigation, respectively.
